Chatham Confederate Veterans' Memorial

A memorial to Confederate soldiers from Chatham County, North Carolina, stands outside the old county courthouse in the center of downtown Pittsboro. The monument was erected by the Winnie Davis Chapter, U.D.C., to remember local men who answered the call to serve their state and defend their homes in the conflict of 1861 to 1865.
