Pvt. Stanley "Sug" Kivett

Pvt. Stanley "Sug" Kivett enlisted in Co. M, 22nd Regiment, North Carolina Troops, one of 12 family members serving in the same company. He survived a wound in the Battle of Seven Pines and returned home. His story is recounted in "Private 'Sug' Remembered," originally published in Cartersville Crossroads and available on line. The article also includes a letter written home in 1862.
